I organized a language exchange event Vol.61 for the beginners and intermediates.
今回は初～中級者向けとして、英会話カフェ第61回を開催しました。
The theme was "Gengo", which is Japan's imperial era, and we looked back over the current era, "Heisei" in English.
今回のテーマを「元号」として「平成」を英語で振り返ってみました。
We could look back by only a half of "Heisei" because we had one and a half hour, most people might have had good memories with video games.
時間の都合上、平成の前半までし振り返れませんでしたが、多くの人が時代を感じるものの一つに「ゲーム機」があるようです。
Hesei 1st(1990 A.D) : Gameboy was released.
平成元年（西暦１９９０年）：ゲームボーイ発売
Heisei 2nd(1991 A.D) : Game Gear and Super Family Computer(SNES) were released.
平成２年（西暦１９９１年）：ゲームギア、スーパーファミコン発売
Heisei 6th(1994 A.D) : Sega Saturn and Play Station were released.
平成６年（西暦１９９４年）：セガサターン、プレイステーション発売
Heisei 10th(1998 A.D) : Dream Cast was released.
平成１０年（西暦１９９８年）：ドリームキャスト発売
Heisei 12th(2000 A.D) : Play Station 2 was released.
平成１２年（西暦２０００年）：プレイステーション２発売
As you can see, a lot of video games were released at only a half of Heisei.
こうやって振り返ると、平成の前半だけでもたくさんのゲーム機が出たんですね。
