HEROS' Cafe Vol.69【ふらっと】英会話カフェを開催しました。 Organized a language exchange event

I had the language exchange volume 69. 3 people participated in the exchange. It was nice that we enjoy speaking English over coffee at a nice cafe in the morning.

今回は三人の方が参加してくださいました。オシャレなカフェでコーヒーを飲みながら朝から英語を話すと気持ちがいいです。

The theme was the Buzzword award. A 30-word was nominated to Buzzword of the year in Japan.

I don't actually like the Buzzword award because there are some words that I've never heard of. However the Buzzwords might tell us what is used by many people in Japan this year.

今日のテーマは、流行語大賞です。日本では毎年、30個の流行語がノミネートされます。正直、僕はこの流行語大賞が好きではありません。聞いたこともない言葉がいくつか含まれているからです。しかし、流行語はその年にどんな言葉が流行ったかを教えてくれることがあります。

日本で流行っている言葉を知りたい人はこの投稿を読んでください。僕たちの話題に挙がったいくつかの流行語を紹介します。

1. ONE TEAM / It's not only once in 4 years, it's only once in our life.

There was the Rugby World Cup in Japan this year. They were the themes of Japan's squad which beat some strong teams.

「４年に１度じゃない、一生に１度だ」

これは今年、日本で行われたラグビーワールドカップで強敵を次々と倒した日本代表のスローガンです。

2. タピる / Doing tapioca

It means to drink tapioca tea. Many people drunk a lot of tapioca tea in Japan, except for me.

「タピる」はタピオカティーを飲むことです。日本ではたくさんの人がこのタピオカティーをたくさん飲みました、僕を除いて。

3. 軽減税率 / Reduced tax rate

10% consumption tax began applying on every item on October 1st. However only some of foods remain sitll the rate 8%. That's the reduced tax rate. Japan's economy started depression again because it's a limited service only for half a year. That's really ridiculous.

10月から消費税率が10%になりました。しかし、一部の食品だけは8%のまま。これが軽減税率です。日本の景気後退がまた始まりました、たった半年間の限定的な制度だからです。本当に馬鹿げています。
